Exterior

• Remove vehicles from driveways / in front of property

• Hide garbage cans

• Put away tools, yard toys, cleaning supplies, etc.

• Remove hoses (if not possible, then wind them up neatly)

• Close gates and garage doors

• Remove covers from grills, furniture, spas and pools

• Put patio umbrellas up

• Remove pool equipment and pool toys from view

• Turn on fountains/waterscapes

• Remove security signs

• Rake leaves and remove sticks from the yard

• Trim shrubs, trees & plants and mow lawn.

Kitchen / Dining rooms

• Remove soap bottles and sponges

• Remove all magnets/items from refrigerator

• Remove any dishes from the sink and counters

• Remove high chairs or booster seats

• Remove floor mats/rugs (if tile or wood flooring)

• Remove paper towels

• Remove trash can(s)

• Remove pens, notepads, mail, & other paper items

• Clean countertops and appliances surfaces

Living / Family rooms

• Straighten rugs, curtains, throw pillows & book shelves

• Remove any children’s toys and/or pet toys

• Remove magazines and newspapers

• Put away clothes, shoes, personal items, etc.

• Set dining table or clear off everything but for a small centerpiece

Bedrooms / bathrooms

• Make all beds and remove anything stored under the bed if visible

• Tidy up walk-in closets

• Put away all clothes and shoes

• Remove soaps, lotions, shampoo / conditioner bottles from view

• Remove floor mats/rugs if visible

• Clean mirrors & shower glass

• Remove weight scales

• Remove personal care items (toothbrushes, razors, etc)

• Remove wash cloths (Neatly folded hand towels and towels are OK)

• Remove shower squeegees and hanging shower racks
